Decisions, decisions...

As of right now I have a lot of decisions to make. What to do next year, what to do this weekend, what to do tonight. I have jobs, school, lake weekends and Braves game possibilities in my future, I just have to decide what’s best! Hopefully those decisions will come easily and won’t stress me out too bad! The easiest thing to do I have found, is to put all those decisions off and enjoy the rest of my Friday. Those choices will come when the time is right. Here’s to a great Memorial Day weekend!

Wedding weekend recap

Evin and John Hoyt’s wedding was beautiful! One of the most gorgeous weddings I’ve ever attended. It was so much fun just to be involved. The only bad thing that came out of the wedding was someone there had some sort of stomach virus because half of the wedding party has been sick ever since, including myself! I left Mopdog early yesterday because of it, but came in to work today, still not feeling 100%. It’s a good thing I did though because one of our clients sent us some goodies, including chocolate covered strawberries (my fav!).

Other new things: I have been looking at UGA apartments, which has just been stressful, trying to find a job for when internship days are over and still trying to get my room cleaned in order to paint, which hasn’t been going well with the wedding and then being sick! Oh well there’s always tomorrow! I hope Evin and John Hoyt are having fun on their honeymoon in Puerto Rico, I wish I was there!

Wedding Weekend 2011

I’m heading out soon for a wedding weekend in Pendergrass. Tonight starts bachelorette party fun for the lovely Evin Winkelman and tomorrow all the crazy stuff will begin. I can’t wait to see her and catch up! What she doesn’t know yet is I have planned a few surprises for her throughout the weekend, and I know John Hoyt has some up his sleeve as well, so it’s sure to be a great weekend!

Internship and tea time

I’m in my second week at my internship at Mopdog Creative + Strategy and I’m loving it! I’ve done all kinds of things from designing and editing to photographing products for the website. I’m really enjoying myself and can’t wait for what projects will arise the rest of the summer.

Last night, Ben and I met for dinner at Houston’s by Lenox Mall after he got off work. Before this we walked around the mall a little bit and I of course was sucked into Teavana, where I bought a new travel mug that filters and steeps loose tea all by itself! And I couldn’t help myself from buying some new tea to go along with my mug (Golden Monkey). I can’t wait to try it all out tomorrow!

Tonight will be a night of relaxing and catching up on a lot of things. Noah has an alternative book report to do that I’m planning on helping him on and I have a few odds and ends to finish up, including continuing to get my life reorganized since I moved out of my apartment in Milledgeville. And on that note, I’m still searching for apartments in Athens if anyone has any suggestions!

Lake

I’ve had a great week so far at Mopdog. I’m loving the people and the work (even though that Japanese brochure I had to edit was a little bit tricky!). Last night Noah and I decided to surprise my mom with cleaning the house. We even moved the couch up into Brandon’s room (which she had been wanting for weeks). And the work day is almost over and right after this I’ll head up to the lake! I’m probably more excited for this lake trip than I have ever been before. Probably because we are all missing Georgia College and living 5 minutes from each other, I know I am! The bad thing about planning our trip in advance is we can’t predict the weather. Tomorrow is supposed to e a high of 72 and rainy… gross. Well here’s to hoping the weathermen aren’t doing their job!

Time for some improvements

This is the start of me trying to be a better blogger. Sunday I moved back to Kennesaw to stay with my parents over the summer. However, I have some improvements to make and this blog is one of them. I’m also attempting to de-clutter my life. I have my heart set out to basically scrap my room before I move in, which has proved to be a very daunting task. I never really did a round of spring cleaning before I moved away to college, (and my neat freak tendencies didn’t really kick in until then either), so my room is filled with remnants of old friends and forgotten pastimes. I am also trying to update - mostly to get rid of the cats-in-flowerpots wallpaper I picked out when I was 5, and start off with a fresh coat of paint. The problem with this is in order to achieve this, I have to move everything out. So this is my project for the next month, to clean, clean and clean some more… and to find time to do that while juggling an internship and being at the lake every weekend. And speaking of the lake, this weekend will be a fun one up in Blairsville… a bunch of freshman year Bell Hall friends are coming up to the lake for our end of the year lake reunion. I can’t wait to get up there and relax.
